Grant-Funded Improvements Strengthen CILA Living Spaces

Thanks to recent grant funding supporting residential and behavioral health environments, Lifelong Access has been able to make meaningful improvements across several of our Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILAs). These updates help ensure individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have access to safe, accessible, and supportive living spaces that promote independence, wellbeing, and long-term success in the community. By investing in the places people call home, we are strengthening environments that support everyday living and enhance quality of life.

At House A*, updates were completed throughout the home to create a refreshed and welcoming space. New flooring was installed throughout the entire house, creating greater consistency and accessibility across living areas. The bathroom was updated with a new tub and shower as well as a new sink, and the kitchen received a full refresh with replaced cabinets and sink. To complete the transformation, the entire interior of the home was painted by our team.

At House B*, improvements were made across the home to better support daily living and comfort. New flooring and trim were installed throughout the entire house, and both downstairs apartments received fully remodeled bathrooms. Upstairs, a new shower replaced an existing tub to improve usability and accessibility. Our team also completed painting throughout the home, giving the space a renewed and refreshed feel.

At House C*, the bathroom received a complete remodel featuring a new tile shower, tile flooring, fresh wall panels, and updated paint, creating an upgraded space designed for comfort and everyday use.

These improvements reflect an ongoing investment in creating environments that support dignity, independence, and community living. By continuing to strengthen our residential homes, we are helping ensure the individuals we support have spaces that feel safe, welcoming, and truly like home.
