Supported Employment
Supported Employment assists job seekers with the process of obtaining and maintaining a career of their choosing.
At Lifelong Access, we offer job development and job facilitation, formerly known as job coaching. We work in collaboration with the Behavioral Health Clinic to provide a holistic approach to employment.
Services offered through Supported Employment
Job Development begins by pairing the job seeker with a Job Facilitator to meet once a week for one hour. During this time, the Job Facilitator will provide support to the job seeker while creating or revising professional documents such as resume, cover letter, or references. The Job Facilitator may also provide support for job searching and applying, mock interviews, and skill building.
When a job seeker has been offered employment, Job Facilitators provide support through the interview and onboarding process. Ongoing supports are customized to the needs of the person supported.
Our team recognizes the importance of engaging community stakeholders in our program to pair them with an individual with the skills and interests to meet their needs.
Supported Employment Funding
Lifelong Access has secured funding through the Competitive Integrated Employment Capacity grant awarded by the State of Illinois.
In order to be eligible, an individual must be 18 years of age, possess a high school diploma, and have proof of diagnosis
which can be in the form of most recent IEP or psychological evaluation within the last 5 years.

BackWelcome to Lifelong Access.
You may know us as Marcfirst, but we've recently undergone a name change. Why? Because in every phase of life, it’s never a question of if we helped. It’s how we help that truly counts. And how much we helped. Because our clients never outgrow us. And, we never outgrow them. Hence, our new name: Lifelong Access.
