Applied Behavioral Analysis

Applied Behavior Analysis Therapy closes the gaps in learning for kids on the Autism spectrum. It’s a therapy that helps those with autism spectrum disorder learn how to learn. ABA focuses on reducing challenges and celebrating small wins. It’s evidence-based and play-focused with measurable outcomes.

If your child is struggling with social, emotional, or daily living skills, communication or unwanted behaviors, ABA may be a good fit.

Why choose ABA at Lifelong Access?

We recognize each child is unique and requires a unique approach to care, so we prioritize individualized support.

We also focus on collaboration between therapies, offering a truly custom care plan for your child based on their needs. If they need extra support from physical therapy or speech therapy, for example, our therapists collaborate across disciplines to give them the best opportunity for success.

Our care team creates a personalized connection with families. We believe that a child's progress is best achieved through consistent support both at home and in our program, ensuring continuity and maximizing results.

We are committed to the professional growth of our staff. Not only do we offer initial training, but we emphasize continuous education, so they remain up to date with the latest advancements in ABA.

Why ABA?

Research has shown that ABA can help individuals with a variety of skills such as communication, play, social, self-help, and daily living and address any challenging behaviors that they may demonstrate.

ABA focuses on the motivation and why behaviors occur and uses strategies to decrease unwanted behaviors and increase socially significant behaviors.

Once treatment has started, the child will be receiving one-on-one individualized and focused treatments with a behavior technician.

ABA therapy looks different for each child because it's based on the treatment plan created by the BCBA and parents. Each session, the kids work on goals that directly relate to their treatment plans, such as requesting preferred items, imitating peers, social skills, and more.

All kids in ABA also have access to our group play areas, including the sensory gym, where they can work on social skills. All treatment plans are individualized and modified.
